Mayo Flynt is president of AT&T Mississippi, a position he has held since January 2007. As president, Flynt is responsible for AT&T’s operations in Mississippi, including external affairs, regulatory affairs, and public policy. In 2018, Flynt was also named president of AT&T Southern States providing oversight for additional states in the region, including Alabama, Tennessee, and South Carolina.
Prior to this appointment, Flynt held a series of positions within AT&T of increasing responsibility for regulatory and legislative affairs on the state and federal levels, as well as internationally.
Flynt is a past chairman of the Mississippi Economic Council, the Mississippi Partnership for Economic Development, Innovate Mississippi, Mississippi Museum of Art, and the Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership, where he currently chairs the Lake Development Task Force. He is also a member of the Jackson Rotary Club.
Flynt is a graduate of the University of Mississippi. He and his wife, Renee, have two daughters, Sarah Kathryn and Olivia.
