Noel Wilkin

Dr. Noel Wilkin is the University of Mississippi’s Provost & Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, which is the Chief Academic Officer for the university. He is also Professor of Pharmacy Administration and Research Professor in the Research Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences.  

Wilkin was an accomplished faculty member in the School of Pharmacy, and before becoming Provost, he served as a department chair, center director, and senior associate provost. Wilkin has co-chaired an SBIR/STTR study section for the National Institutes of Health, edited a journal on pharmacy education, served on a national panel to outline the educational outcomes in pharmacy, formed the Pharmacy Entrepreneurship Program, and established two limited liability companies. 

Additionally, he has been recognized as teacher of the year in the School of Pharmacy three times, and has talked on the topics of leadership, pharmacy management, and pharmacy innovation all over the country.
